The Lord is my Shepherd by damago The Lord is my Shepherd by damago
This is God himself in human form Jesus, the good shepherd and the father of all human beings, I have my beliefs on the Catholic religion, I'm Mexican, If you are not religious or anything don't make comments that are blasphemy or bad stuff against Jesus, but feel free to comment on anyway on the painting and how it's made. This was made like 1 and a half years ago back when I started on art, and it is made under the pastels technique over Canson. Alright, I hope you like it and comment on!, all comments and favorites are appreciated...

EDIT** (5th of May 2009)

I finally found who the original artist was, thanks to a fellow artist who goes by the username of radioactivespider1, so now I can say it is a rendition of the original painting by Simon Dewey

Absolutely beautiful....a tender and loving, yet mighty and strong Father.

I think it was Simon Dewey who originally did the painting for this. This is a cool rendition as well.

This is how I often picture Him, strong yet tender and loving.
A mighty King and a tender shepherd.
GOD bless
